Sew Me Sunshine Shop
I have been a big fan of the Sew Me Sunshine fabric collection for a very long time. They have such a wonderful selection of fabrics! I can always find what I am after and am always pleased with the quality of fabric and the amazing service provided.
Wanting to support Sew Me Sunshine I asked if it would be possible to sew a piece to help promote them. Jenny was so friendly and said I could choose any fabric from their collection and make what I liked! So I went for this amazing Atiler Brunette fabric and a Wilder Gown.
As you can see this fabric has an amazing drape. We tried to capture the beautiful movement that this fabric has with the photos.
This fabric really is magical, it shows this stunning drape but also at the same time it does hold its shape. I find some viscose fabric to be very unstructured but this one is the perfect combination of drape and structure.
I decided to go with the orange contrast ribbon as he neck tie for this Wilder Gown, as I love this feature of the pattern and think it looks great when it is more visible. I also added elastic to the upper seam so it draws the dress in at the bust and waist to give the dress more shape. I feel on my smaller frame the dress looks better when I add the elastic detail.
I just wanted to say a big thank you to the team at Sew Me Sunshine for gifting me this fabric and allowing me the chance to help promote them. They really are a wonderful company, I am sure you will be able to find the fabric you are looking for in their online shop!
